External Parasites on Cats: Fleas
Small blood-sucking bugs, only some of the existing species affect cats and they can infect a few people. Spend part of their life cycle on the cat food and another part of the cycle in the environment in which it plays.
Symptoms that may make us think that our cat is infested with fleas are:
- Meticulously examining its fur we get to see these bugs dark, 1-2 mm in length, quickly escape from our sight and retreat especially in the perineal area, English, abdomen and back.
